Germidine ointment is a topical antiseptic containing povidone-iodine, effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, protozoa, and viruses. It's used for antiseptic treatment of wounds, cuts, bruises, and degerming the skin before and after surgery. Uses:Antiseptic treatment: Germidine is used to treat and prevent infections in minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, burns, and skin infections. Degerming: It's used to reduce germs on the skin before and after surgical procedures. Post-operative dressing: It can be used as a dressing to help prevent infection after surgery. How to use:Clean the area: Gently clean the affected area with a wet cloth.Apply the ointment: Apply a small amount of Germidine ointment to the affected area.Let it dry: Allow the ointment to dry on the skin.Cover the area: Cover the area with a sterile bandage, if desired.
